In addition to being able to send a one-time email "blast" in Targeted Email, EveryAction also has tools that allow you to automate the sending of email to your supporters based on their activity, your activity, time, space, etc. There are two versions, actually: the first is in Targeted Email under the heading "Email Series". These were rather cumbersome, and I'm happy to report they will be going away relatively soon.
The new version, called Automation, is an option in the main EveryAction menu. It's better. It does, as you might expect, require its creators to already know how to create email content, as well as understanding email audiences and segmentation.
When you have those skills down, it's really just a matter of learning how to stitch together your automated "workflows". To explain that, I will rely on EveryAction's own help document resources for Automation, which are numerous and varied:
